I have trimmed my travel schedule way back for 2001. This has been done for several reasons. The main reason is to accommodate the tremendous increase in visitors to the gardens here. While I don't mind folks touring the gardens in my absence, I really enjoy meeting fellow gardeners and talking plants. Also, with so much major restructuring of what has become my 60-acre Arboretum, I need to be here to supervise.
