Lectures and WorkshopsIn the past, people would pay me not to talk. Now they pay me to talk, go figure. Well, I either know what I'm talking about or I have everyone, including myself, fooled.
Slide Lectures - Something Old Something New Something Yada Yada Yada (160 slides)
- Woodland Wonders from the Wilds of West Virginia (80 slides)
- Destination Helleborus (80 slides)
- The Hardy Cyclamen (This lecture is a work in progress will be presented for the first time at The Perennial Plant Symposium in July 2001.)
Workshops - Propagation Workshop
This workshop can be custom-tailored to suit the knowledge level or interests of virtually any group. A four-page handout recaps the events of the day.
I've trimmed back my lecture schedule somewhat this year to spend more time here at the farm so I can personally guide the many visitors we receive yearly through the gardens, greenhouses and trial beds. Peak bloom for the Hellebores is around the first week of April so I've left that block of time open for visitors. I still have certain dates available for programs, so if your Garden Club, Master Gardener Group, Civic Organization etc would like to schedule a talk, slide presentation, propagation workshop or program, send me your address and I'll send you a Speakers Package.
